Any changes to the report's data will be reflected at the next report refresh interval, which is every 5 minutes.

Yes, this can be done using ScreenCloud's Embeddable Channels or Embeddable Playlists feature. This is also a premium add-on feature that you can set up a trial with ScreenCloud for sharing web links or embedding your content on websites or services. How can I set up two-factor authentication while logging into Microsoft PowerBI?

Two-factor authentication is supported by ScreenCloud, though this requires the feature to be activated in your Microsoft PowerBI account. if your organization uses or would like to set up two-factor authentication for your logins, click here to view Microsoft's support article for setting up two-factor authentication. This is required through Microsoft to log in using this method with ScreenCloud.

Question 4

When logging in to my Microsoft account through the ScreenCloud Power BI app, I see an error message that admin approval is required or that I lack permissions to connect. How can I resolve this and allow the connection?

Your issue might be that permissions are not yet approved for the connection. Please see Microsoft Power BI - Permission requirements for help on how you can resolve this. You can also ask the Microsoft admin user of your account to log in with the ScreenCloud Power BI app so they can approve the necessary settings as they login.

Question 8

My Power BI zoom is stuck and can't be adjusted in the app. How can I fix this?

Accepted Answer

This can happen if the zoom settings have been adjusted in the Power BI dashboard or report in Microsoft first and not through our app. If this happens, please re-create your Power BI dashboard from scratch, and copy all elements over. This way, any stuck settings that were causing this issue should now be wiped clean.

My Power BI app is not loading and only shows the Power BI logo

Accepted Answer

If your Dashboard or Report is not able to display and you see only the Power BI logo, your hardware might not be compatible with the app due to an outdated Chromium build. Please see here to learn which Operating Systems and versions are not supported.

If your hardware is compatible, however, please refer to Domains and Servers to Whitelist for ScreenCloud, and provide this to your network admin and IT team. The issue could be that your organizations secure network is blocking the necessary services.

My Power BI Dashboard or Report is taking a very long time to load on screen

Accepted Answer

Slow loading times are usually caused by more advanced, data-heavy dashboards and reports. To reduce loading times, make sure to display Power BI dashboards with complex content on hardware with sufficient RAM and storage, such as Windows PCs, macOS devices, or ScreenCloud OS hardware.

Lower-spec devices — such as Amazon Fire TV Sticks and consumer-grade Android TV devices — are more likely to experience long loading times on screen in these scenarios.

A Power BI app in my account is not loading it's content and there is an 'authentication' error message

Accepted Answer

If you encounter errors while previewing older Power BI reports, this could be due to authentication-related issues. For example, the password for the login may have been changed, or the app might have been inactive and unused on screens for an extended period. Here’s what to do to fix this:

1. Recreate your Power BI app instance: Login and select your report or dashboard, apply the necessary settings, and save your new app.

2. If the old app is playing on screens, use Find and Replace to replace these instances with your new Power BI app.

3. Delete the Power BI app instance that is no longer authenticated and connect
